Project Manager – Fire and Security

Your new role Job Purpose:

Control
all aspects of Fire & Security projects from design, estimation,
installation, commission through to final account.

The role
will require the manager to conduct himself in a safe and professional manner
in occupied premises with good communication skills to ensure projects are
delivered to the customer and employers satisfaction.

Experience
Knowledge of Fire & Security systems is beneficial, and a desire to
learn new technical skills with a dynamic approach is key.

Principal
Accountabilities:

Preparation
of the following:-

* Tender build up including sub-contract and equipment enquiries.
* CDM Health & Safety File
* Variation quotes
* Project Programmes
* Company IMS procedures
* Fire & Security compliance
* Operator & Maintenance Manuals
* As Fitted Drawings
* Attendance & Participation at client contract meetings
* Preparation and presentation of client contract Reports
* Attendance and participation in the Monthly Contract Meetings
* Provide operational support as necessary to other parts of the Business Unit
* To carry out annual staff appraisals
* Ensure accurate and timely invoicing of all contract related works/revenue

What you’ll need to succeed
One or all of the Bellow:-

– 17th Edition Electrical FIA Training Units 1 – 4 Tavcom CCTV.
– Access Control & Intruder Detection.
– PRINCE 2 – Practitioner
– Knowledge of key operational management disciplines, e.g. quality control, work planning methods.
– Capable of managing a portfolio in excess of £5m per annum.
– At least 5 years’ experience within a similar role.
– IT literacy Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel Microsoft Projects Microsoft PowerPoint Autodesk AutoCAD.
– Valid full – driving license, desirable clean.
