Acoustic Consultant – Brighton

We are seeking an experienced Acoustician at Consultant grade to join an employee owned acoustic consultancy in their Brighton office! My client focuses on contributing to a more sustainable future and works on an array of projects ranging from smaller planning applications through to large residential mix-used schemes. The successful candidate will support existing workload by providing high-quality acoustic surveys and assessments.

The ideal candidate will hold between 3-5 years’ commercial experience; in this time, you will have become familiar with environmental noise surveys such as BS4142 and building / architectural assessments including BB93. You are also required to hold membership to the Institute of Acoustics as well as having a full UK driving licence.

Duties will involve:

Undertaking acoustic assessments including those relating to Section 61, room acoustics and BS4142 surveys.
Site visits will be essential around the London & Brighton regions.
Acoustic modelling.
Noise monitoring.
Data collation & interpretation.
Mentoring of junior consultants.
