Salary: £27,600 per year

Job Title: Special Orders, Returns & Packing Supervisor

Reporting to: Warehouse Team Leader

Job Purpose

· Receiving, picking, packing and despatch of all special orders;

· Processing of customer returns;

· Supervision of all in-house packing and relabeling.

Expectations of the role are as follows:

· You regularly hit performance targets set by the Team Leader/Line Manager;

· You take it upon yourself to gain a general appreciation of the companys activities;

· You communicate clearly with, support, and work in alignment with, your colleagues and line manager;

· You look for ways of improving how things are done here and look for ways of how you could bring further value to the company;

· You familiarise yourself with Health & Safety and Company Rules & Procedures and adhere to these policies at all times;

· You handle all products with due care and you do not damage them through poor handling;

· You keep all areas tidy and free from the waste you generate;

· You respect and do not misuse, neglect, or cause damage, to any company equipment that is supplied to you;

· In addition to any management support you receive, you nevertheless take your own steps to improve your performance in your role;

· In all your dealings, you are open and honest and go about your work with commitment and enthusiasm.

Your individual responsibilities are:

· Supervise the receipt, picking, packing (inc. re-work) and despatch of all special* orders; making sure all deliveries go out in full, on time, undamaged and to the correct specification;

· Making sure all orders are booked in for delivery as advised per the order specifications;

· To communicate promptly, any issues that may affect our ability to fulfil any orders;

· Supervision of all packing activities at WDC, ensuring activities stay in line with agreed KPI targets;

· Accurate recording and reporting of ALL packing and rework (job no, packer timings, no of components used etc);

· Issuing all rework and packing data to your line manager for verification and submission to accounts on the last working day of the month;

· Processing of all customer returns;

· Any other duties, as the Company may reasonably request or require

This is a temporary to permanent role. Benenfits include:
