HGV Driver

SLD Pumps and Power, a trading division within Carrier Rental Systems, is seeking to recruit a HGV Driver for the Aberdeen Depot. SLD Pumps and Power Division is a leading provider of a range of specialist pump rental products, to a variety of industries and clients. We are committed to improving pump solutions and delivering a high level of service, through high specification equipment and an understanding of client`s requirements, to offer a complete solution.

As an innovator and world leader in the pumps and generator industry we consider our employees to be one of our most valuable assets and we are currently seeking to recruit a HGV Driver to cover the Scotland region, based from our Aberdeen Depot.

The role will involve travelling within the Scotland region to deliver equipment to a large client base. Responsibilities will include the loading, unloading and delivery of plant equipment through use of a Forklift Truck and Hiab Crane. Also, Ensuring maintenance of company vehicles and equipment is of a high standard and compliant with Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental standards. It is also the drivers responsibility to report any depot/vehicle issues immediately, ensuring company productivity and quality targets are consistently achieved. On top of this whilst not driving you may be required to complete some additional labouring duties.

It is essential to have a clean Full UK LGV Class 2 Driving Licence as well as being certified/licenced to use a Hiab Crane (ideally with hook and remote control category) as well as a fully completed CPC. As the role will involve the loading and unloading of Hire Equipment it would also be advantageous to have completed a Forklift Truck training course and be in possession of any relevant Forklift Health & Safety Certificates.
