Salary: £14.4 – £15.6 per hour
Our client, an expanding manufacturing company in the Merseyside area, require an electrical engineer with experience of working in a fast paced production environment. There will be a requirement to also carry out some operating/setting of machinery on the production side as well as carrying out electrical maintenance as the job dictates.
The job will run on a 6-2/2-10pm shift rotation paying between £14.4 – £15.6 /hr PAYE, dependant on experience. The roles are permanent and due to start straight away following a successful interview.
Summary:
Production Technician (Double Day Shift, Monday to Thursday and Half day Friday)
Duration: Permanent
Pay Rate: Excellent hourly rate + Shift + Overtime + 25 days holiday
Location: Merseyside
The role will include preventative maintenance and breakdown repair on a range of machinery associated with the manufacturing sector. This will include works to improve health and safety and also on machinery improvement initiatives.
When engineering duties have been fulfilled, you will be required to set and operate the machinery as part of the production team so please bear this in mind when applying.
To be considered for the role you must have the following skills/experience;
-NVQ Level 3 qualification or similar in electrical qualification or demonstrated experience of carrying out first line maintenance.
-GCSE in Maths & English at Grade C or above.
-Fast paced production environment experience.
-Continuous improvement knowledge.
-Tool change/setting experience beneficial.
-Electrical fault finding
