Production Operative or Industrial Seamstress

Barker Ross are currently recruiting for General Production Operatives and Industrial Sewers/Seamstresses for our client based in Old Dalby, near Melton Mowbray. Our client is a specialist insulation company – specifically acoustic and thermal insulation in the construction, rail and industrial industries (to name a few).

We’re looking for fast, productive workers with an eagerness to learn new skills. You may have worked in a factory before or be looking to transfer existing practical skills to the work place. You may be a keen sewer at home, or enjoy building and assembling projects – any of these interests might make you the perfect candidate for the role!

Successful candidates will be involved in some or all of the following:

Use of industrial sewing Machines
Leather cutting and finishing
Hand finishing
Product Assembly

Candidates will work within a small team to set targets. All applicants must have permission to work within the UK.

Hours: Flexibility is required – the successful candidate will be required to work a rotating shift pattern – 06:00-14:00 one week and 14:00-22:00 the next.

Pay: Salary: s are between £26,000and £26,000 per year.
