We are working on an exciting opportunity with an further educational college in the East of England area who are looking for a full-time and permanent Carpentry Assessor to join their team.

The successful candidate would be based in the education provider’s construction department working with the carpentry and joinery team.

You will be responsible for a case load of level 2 learners. You will liaise with learners to plan and undertake assessments in the workplace, deliver high quality training and support and monitor them through all aspects of their apprenticeship/learner journey to ensure timely completion of the Apprenticeship/qualification framework.

The starting salary for this position is up to £36,577.2 per annum, which would also include a pension, in-house training, and a holiday allowance (plus Bank Holidays and closure days).

To be eligible for the position, you MUST have:

* Carpentry trade qualification level 3 or equivalent

* Assessing qualification TAQA or equivalent

* Hold an internal verifier award (V1) or be willing to work towards

* Hold or be willing to undertake a recognised Health & Safety Qualification to IOSH level or equivalent if required
