A Head of Care is now required to work at our clients Care Home for the elderly in Scunthorpe.

This small 22 bedded care home in Scunthorpe caters for elderly residential care. They are seeking a Head of Care to assist the Deputy and Registered Manager in running the service.

You will be contracted to Days 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with some on-call responsibilities.

Salary is between £26,000 – £26,400depending on experience and qualifications.

The ability to motivate and supervise care staff at all times
Currently be working in a senior position and have 2 years’ experience in a senior position
NVQ 3 in Health and social care, or other relevant qualification to that standard
Medication Trained with current medication certificate
Demonstrate that you are able to lead a team and have strong leadership skills
A good understanding on GDPR and demonstrate being able to maintain confidentiality at all times
Be a strong team player and be confident in safely running a large care home in the absence of managers
Experience in completing staff observations and competencies
A strong knowledge of updating care plans to current needs of the residents
