Senior Support Analyst

Salary: £42,840 – £47,280 per year

A respected public sector business with offices in the North-West & North-East are looking to expand their existing team with the appointment of a Senior Support Analyst to provide support across infrastructure and systems. This role will be majority home based with a requirement to attend one of their offices in the North-West or North-East from time to time.

You will provide cloud configuration/management and communications/networking support in conjunction with third-party suppliers across infrastructure, along with also supporting some systems analysis (including implementation and design). You will have a good understanding of project management methodologies, GDPR/data integrity, change/transformation, and IT security principles. Strong stakeholder, third-party supplier management & staff mentoring/leadership skills are absolutely essential for this role.

Essential Skills:

• Experience working as a Senior/Lead Support Analyst across both infrastructure and systems within a commercial environment
• Change/transformation experience
• Staff mentoring/leadership
• Cloud configuration and management (ideally Azure)
• Communication and networking support – Office 365, Exchange Server, Active Directory, Cisco and Mobile Device Management etc
• Systems analysis including testing
• GDPR/data integrity/IT security understanding
• Stakeholder and third-party supplier management
• Data warehousing/data migration
• Experience of PowerApps/AI/Chatbots or Power BI maintenance would be highly desirable for this role but is not essential
