German Speaking Teacher

An ‘Outstanding’ secondary school in Braintree Essex are looking for a teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to join them ASAP until the end of the academic year.

This highly regarding academy teach Spanish, French and German from Key Stage 3 – 5 and a mixture of two of the subjects is expected from the ideal candidate. A native of either language would fit well in the existing department as they like to include culture into their teaching as well as language.

As the school is a training school the school will be supportive of newly qualified teachers but experience in the UK is a necessity. Mentoring is available and the senior leadership team are fully supportive and involved with the department and in class teaching. The timetable is flexible but the ability to teach one subject to Key Stage 5 is required and a second to Key Stage 5 an advantage.

Resources are facilities at the school are of the highest quality and up to date due to a refurbishment last year. The school are keen on extra-curricular activities as they feel it helps students to progress not only academically but socially. Each department organise educational trips which are enjoyed by both students and teachers.
