Leonardo is looking to recruit a SAP Functional Analyst to join a specialised team of SAP Professionals within our IT department that are responsible for the ongoing support of two SAP systems split across two divisions using DevOps.

The SAP Functional Analyst will have a Production Planning based foundation in SAP consultation and will be required to support, design, implement and deploy SAP solutions to achieve defined business goals. You will be expected to maintain skills in SAP applications Production Planning (PP) and Document Management Solution (DMS) process design and configuration.
Leonardo in the UK have started their journey to delivering the future Digital Factory, utilising some of the latest tools including TeamCenter Unified. As a member of the SAP Functional Analyst you will be involved in the TeamCenter Unified integration with SAP for Materials and BOMs.

What you will do
- Deliver projects from design to completion to achieve required business outputs
- May co-ordinate and supervise the activities of team members
- Take ownership of and solve more complex technical problems and issues within own specialty
- Prioritise work and time to deliver solutions to incidents, problems, change requests and projects meeting Service Level Agreements
- Work with the business to analyse requirements, design and deliver solutions
- Provide support for migration projects as and when required
- Understand the business requirements and translate it into solution framework / architecture
- Work with business experts and technical resources to facilitate incident & problem resolution
- Ensure effective communication with business and project stakeholders
- Work will require less supervision and will be more complex in nature
- Coordinate the development of code elements and review
- Obtain acceptance for all deliverables from the business
- Ensure adherence to internal and external standards for all solutions.

What we are looking for
- As a SAP Functional Analyst you will have experience in an IT Functional Analyst role, be an excellent communicator, possess strong analytical skills with an ability to understand business requirements and identify the most appropriate solution
- Functional / Technical professional with at least three + full SAP life cycle implementations and preferably six years of industry experience (Manufacturing / Defence / Aerospace)
- Experience with SAP DMS configuration & customizing and preferably in related modules SAP Materials Management (MM) / SAP Quality Management (QM)
- Understanding the Business requirements AS-IS and TO-BE process flows document and sign off with users design document
- Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and TeamCenter Unified master data management
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to be innovative and conceptualise
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Good team worker with ability to influence and motivate
