A market-leading Producer of High-Specification Industrial Chemicals offers their customers on-site manufacturing expertise with the operation and management of their products. To meet continued demand, an opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Technician who can also be a great company ambassador now exists at a client’s manufacturing facility in the Samlesbury area.

Working on own initiative, this is a ‘hands on’ customer facing operations role carrying out fluid management and lubrication duties. Hours of work will be Monday – Friday day shifts.

Duties will involve; handling and distribution of lubricants, condition monitoring and control of fluids and plant equipment and reporting, day to day involvement in the lubrication programme of plant and equipment in accordance with the requirements of the maintenance schedule to develop an overall understanding of all activities provided to the customer, following practices and procedures laid down including 5s and Health & Safety.

Applicants will ideally be an experienced Lubrication Technician, although this is not essential. Previous experience of mechanical maintenance/maintenance fitting is required, as is prior history of working within a manufacturing or production environment. Strong communications skills and a good level of IT literacy are essential.
