Street Cleaner

Salary: £26,000 per year

Post: Street Cleansing Operative

Location: Craigavon, but must be prepared to be based throughout Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council area.

Salary: £26,000per year

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Saturday between the hours of 08.00am – 3.54pm. This post may require you to work Public Holidays, evenings, Saturdays and Sundays on a shift rota basis.

Duration: Temporary contract for 3 months, may be extended

Essential Criteria:

Six months experience in an outdoor street cleansing or waste collection environment

 Six months experience in providing frontline contact with members of the public or local businesses to include:

 Providing advice and information

 Dealing with complaints

 Effective Communication skills

 Able to work as part of a team

 Ability to identify and report to line management street cleansing issues and trends

 Able to provide excellent customer service and first point of contact with members of the public and local businesses

 Interest in environmental matters

 Full current Driving Licence valid in the UK
