Grounds Maintenance Operative

Salary: £26,000 per year

We are recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Operative on behalf of a well established and growing Northampton based landscaping company that specialises in designing, installing and maintaining the landscaping (gardens, open areas, show areas) on new build housing developments as well as offering a landscape maintenance service to other clients.

This is a permanent and full time job working a 42.5 hour week with overtime available, also included as part of the package is four weeks paid holiday plus all bank holidays, pension, uniform, PPE and the real opportunity to progress through the ranks to Team Leader and higher.

To be considered you will need to have grounds maintenance experience, ideally your PA1 and PA6 and if you have digger / dumper or tractor experience that would be useful too.

During the growing season you will be working as part of the maintenance team and off season moving to the landscaping team so any related landscaping experience would be really useful.

You also need your own transport to be able to get to the depot in the morning from where you will travel to and from sites in a company van.

On offer is: up to £26,000per year which works out to £26,000 per year, £26,000 per year, £23,200 a year plus overtime which is paid at enhanced rates.
