Quality Manager – Automotive Sheet Metal Fabricator – Redditch

An ISO 9001 accredited sheet metal fabricator to the automotive sector is currently looking to recruit an experienced Quality Manager. The ideal applicant will have at least 3 years commercial experience in a quality role working with ISO 9001 and also be conversant with the requirements of TS 16949.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the ISO system, material traceability,
internal and external audits, management review, etc. You will be conversant with reading first and
third angle drawings and will have experience in preparing PPAP documentation to include ISIR’s,
FMEA, CAP Studies, Gauge R & R Studies, Part Warranty Submissions etc. – all as required by the
TS system to which some customers are accredited to and operate.

As a Quality Manager, you will have an engineering background within experience in pressings, sheet metal, fabrications, or similar. Knowledge of Laser Cutting technology will be a distinct advantage. Working in the automotive supply chain and require various levels of ISIRs PPAPs for new parts.

The role will suit individuals currently working as a Quality Manager, QA Manager, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Production Manager and be living within a commutable distance of Redditch, Birmingham, Bromsgrove, Warwick, Coventry, Worcester, Stratford Upon Avon, Droitwich, Evesham, Kidderminster, Dudley or willing to relocate.
