Warehouse Operative Goods in / Production Operative

Salary: £26,000 per year

As a Warehouse Operative you will be joining a small Production team at their office on the Sheffield Business Park where they are responsible for the goods in and out and production.

As a warehouse operative you will be required to help on the logistic side of the business and support the stock controller. This will involve: checking over goods that arrive; booking them into stock; helping out with monthly stock checks and organising the stock area as well as carrying out maintenance at both they head office and production facility.

Your role will also involve the building and testing of the various instruments they manufacture, from Radio TLC scanners to Radio HPLC detectors (you will receive training on the specifics of each instrument).

You will also need to do some driving of a van to collect and deliver parts from the local and national suppliers.

Full training will be provided.

Essential

• Experienced in a stock-controlled environment

• Attention to detail

• Experience of Microsoft office

• Punctual

• Full UK Driving Licence

• Proactive

Desirable

• Experience with ISO 9001

• Experience in a manufacturing background

• Forklift licence
