Probation Officer – East Anglia

Our client is looking for a Qualified Probation Officer in the East of England as part of a Case Management team in a Prison setting.

It is essential that applicants have previous experience of case management in a probation service, managing and enforcing community orders made by the courts and providing pre-sentence reports on people charged with an offence. Previous experience of managing a caseload of prolific offenders is desired, as you would be expected to hit the ground running.

The successful applicant will be responsible for their own caseload of high risk offenders in order to rehabilitate offenders by enforcing the conditions of court orders and release licences, conducting offender risk assessments in order to protect the public, and ensuring offenders’ awareness of the impact of their crime on their victims and the public. You will also be required to complete PSR’s and FDR’s as and when is needed, along with attending court.
