Salary: £26,000 per year
We are delighted to be working with a long and ongoing customer who works within the food industry. We are looking to recruit a van driver on a full-time basis to join our clients team.
You will be responsible for:
Checking vehicle over for any wear and tear
Loading and unloading of vehicle, making sure it is safe and secure
Delivering goods to customers in a safe and timely manor
Be familiar with London and surrounding areas
Be willing to work long days
Customer friendly
Smartly presented
Have good levels of written and verbal communication
This position will be a temp to perm position for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will have 2 years’ experience doing commercial deliveries in and around the country, VERY good knowledge of London, a UK driving licence with no more than 6 points for minor motoring offences. We cannot accept anyone who has had a DR or IN disqualification due to insurance purposes. Candidates must also be over the age of 25 because of customers insurance.
Hours of work are:
Monday to Friday – 04:00 start time with a guarantee 50 hours per week. Overtime at time and half after 50 hours
