The UK’s premier Facilities Management providers are now looking for a Commercial Gas Engineer (with commercial tickets) to provide a mobile servicing function across the Staffordshire region.

Here, you will be part of a mobile team that covers blue chip clients, within banking, retail and education.

With the company van, fuel card and IT equipment, the Service Engineer (Gas) will provide commercial gas, heating, combustion and building services engineering maintenance to a variety of client properties throughout the designated region. This will include commercial gas and HVAC bias fault finding, repairs, maintenance and installation.

The emphasis is on providing a world class building services maintenance service.

Specific actions will include:

• Responsibility for commercial combustion, heating and HVAC bias PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are exceeded.
• Responsibility for other types of building services maintenance to include fabric, HVAC, mechanical and related tasks.
• To provide callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota.
• Maintain the cleanliness of plant rooms, workshops and storage areas.
• To undertake new installations, major and minor repair works to clients heating systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults on systems and plant including basic electrical fault finding.
• To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met. Issue of Permits to Work.
• Ensure that all heating equipment within scope operates to specified performance criteria.
