Warehouse Operative Urgently

Our Portsmouth based client are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join their thriving FMCG Factory / Warehouse.
You would need to be able to work effectively within a multi skilled warehouse team, ensuring all duties are completed in an accurate, timely and safe manner.

Your Key Responsibilities would include:

– Unload incoming vehicle deliveries in designated unloading area.
– To check accurately all incoming deliveries and to complete all relevant paperwork as trained.
– To be multi-skilled trained or to have experience in using electric hand pump trucks.
– Load outgoing vehicles ensuring all correct stock is loaded and secured in a safe manner.
– To be accurate and timely when carrying out stock takes for the warehouse and dispatch areas.

Your Skills and Experience:
– Previous Warehouse experience
– It is preferable that you hold a current driving license.
– Computer literate (preferable).
– Have the ability to work on your own initiative whilst in a team environment.
– Have the ability to work under pressure to deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.
– Self-motivated.
– Good level of literacy and communication skills
– Excellent level of numeracy and problem solving skills.

Hours will vary so you must be flexible (e.g. 16:00 – 04:00am)
