Tax Manager

Salary: £36,000 – £96,000 per year

Francesca’s Recruitment are currently recruiting a Tax Manager on behalf of a leading firm in Sheffield.

The purpose of the role is to provide clients with a proactive, efficient and cost-effective taxation service that meets their needs and those of the regulatory authorities.

Tax Manager Main duties will include:

* Providing a UK tax compliance and advisory service

* Day to day management of the personal tax service including tax payments

* Regular reconciliation of international payments and intercompany balances

* Budgeting for international tax payments

* Prepare regular technical updates

* Responding to HMRC queries

* Day to day management of tax compliance

* Preparation of tax returns

* Review and update individual tax reserves and reconcile to the ledgers

* Review and liaise on UK and international tax payments, including journal preparation

* Collate information and arrange for tax releases in respect of pension contributions

* Involvement in the firm’s audit cycle

Tax Manager, successful candidate will require the following skills and experiences:

* ACA or CTA qualified or qualified by experience

* At least 3 years’ experience of corporate tax work

* Some experience of other taxes ideal but not essential

* An excellent client relationship manager with the ability to deliver a quality service

* Able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues

* Excellent time management skills in order to meet a variety of strict deadlines

Location – Sheffield

Hours – Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
