Accountancy Lecturer/Internal Verifier: The essentials.

– AAT Level 4
– Fully Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ICAEW/CIPFA)
– Verifier qualification (V1, D34)
– Assessor qualification (A1, D32, TAQA)
– Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.

Accountancy Lecturer/Internal Verifier: Your experience.

– Experience of teaching/mentoring AAT qualifications & training CIMA/ACCA
– Experience of designing, writing and delivering development programmes
– Current and relevant knowledge of Accounting and Finance
– Proven record of good to outstanding teaching

Accountancy Lecturer/Internal Verifier: The desirables.

– Full, Clean UK Driving licence
– Teaching qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, CertEd)
– Familiar with e-learning methods
– Ability to respond flexibly and creatively to new challenges and opportunities

Accountancy Lecturer/Internal Verifier: The role.

– Deliver and teach the course frameworks and modules over all areas of ACCA, CIMA & AAT Levels 1-4
– Provide study plans, mock and regular examinations as well as revision course material
– Ensuring timely completion and achievement of learners on the specific courses
– Undertaking assessor responsibilities across relevant subject areas
– Work closely with both the lead tutors and senior team, follow guidance on tutorial delivery, quality assurance, reviews, progressions and development
– Assisting with the preparation of course materials, study plans, mock exams, progress tests and study notes
– Supporting and undertaking where necessary student interviews and attending guidance interviews
– Ensuring learner profiles are ready for Internal Verification and that verification is carried out at regular intervals according to the company plans
– Supporting all the companies quality assurance requirements and to assist managers, administrators and staff
– Travel between both offices and the different client locations as and when necessary
– Salary is negotiable up to £36,000dependant on qualifications & experience
