Salary: £26,000 per year

We are seeking to recruit a care coordinator and an out of hours consultant to join our organisation.

The candidate will work from Wednesday to Sunday to cover the phones during out of hours and also cover the rotas in the office from Wednesday to Fridays 9am to 5pm.

Hours of work for the role are from Wednesday to Sunday, 5.00pm – 09.00am. Week days and must be able to offer a 24 hr service over the weekend.

The successful applicant must have a recruitment or healthcare background, and must be willing to work from home using a mobile phone and laptop computer provided by Flexserve to cover booking during out of hours.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Bookings management:

– Responsible for ensuring that all client queries, both via email and on the telephone requesting nursing staff are answered curteouslty and promptly.

-To ensure that all correspondence both candidate and client once actioned are then recorded our database.
– To conduct risk assessment on the field for new clients if required
– Ensuring that available carestaff are booked into shifts in a timely manner
– Ensuring that all activity is tabulated and recorded on the in house system and a handover prepared for the booking consultants covering the day shift.
– Ensuring that all availability lists of care staff are utilised effectively to ensure that bookings are maximised.
– Attend weekly meetings with the Directors to report progress on placements

General

– To work in partnership with colleagues to ensure the maximum opportunity to generate revenue is achieved after normal working hours.

– To use a proactive, positive and energetic attitude in representing Flexserve and ensure that all parties contacted via telephone or via email is done so in a professional courteous and polite manner.

– Apply and adhere to our company’s policies and procedures for the success of the business.

– Prioritize work load and self manage to ensure working on productive activities to achieve maximum revenue at all times.
– To have a good understanding of the bookings procedure requirements within all the Flexserve and also sound knowledge of the care sector.
– Participate in any in-house training provided by Flexserve and be efficient to ensure that training is then implemented into the day to day management of the business.

Key Skills
– Successfull applicants must be willing to work from home during unsociable hours.
– You must be accurate, organised, efficient and have a logical thinking when it comes to placements.
– You must possess a good telephone manner and be comfortable speaking to clients and candidates.
– Experience working as a care worker is essential but can be trained as a carer
– You must be able to provide figures on a daily basis and be comfortable working to targets.
