Post Completions Assistant

JS Legal Recruitment are excited to be working with a client based in Chelmsford. Due to company expansion our client is recruiting for an experienced Post Completions Assistant to join their Conveyancing team.

The Role

• Providing full support to the Fee Earner to enable them to operate efficiently
• Experience preparing AP1s and supporting documentation for both New Build and Residential transactions, Re Mortgage, Transfer of Equity, Lease extensions
• Knowledge of preparing RX1’s /UN1s/UN2’s would be desirable but not essential
• Updating lenders through Lender Exchange and LMS
• Submitting applications through Land Registry portal
• Sending completion of registration to lender and HTB through portals or via post
• Sending completion of registration to client
• Attending to clients both on the telephone and in person
• Prepare files for completion
• Opening and closing files
• Ensuring all post – completions processes are finalised
• Paying stamp duty to HMRC
• Serving any notices to Landlords
• Registering new owners with the Land Registry
• Requisitions

The Candidate

• A minimum of 1 year’s Residential Conveyancing experience
• Excellent communication and IT skills
• Attention to detail
• The ability to multi task
• Excellent career prospects for the right candidate
• Hours Monday to Friday 9 am – to 5.30 pm
