Salary: £66,000 – £78,000 per year
Our Client is a well known and highly respected international consulting engineering practice, with a global network of offices. Specialising in bespoke multi-disciplinary design, planning and programme management projects, they provide intelligent engineering solutions to the government, industrial, infrastructure, power and oil and gas sectors.
The Manchester office plays a pivotal role for projects based in the North of England and is currently entering a period of growth, with the appointment of an Electrical Associate to take a leading role within the Building Services team a key hire. The successful candidate will work closely with the Technical Director who overseas the Building Services division nationally, providing essential support both internally and externally.
The business is currently involved with a number of high profile projects, the extent of which includes a high degree of technical input and careful client management. Whilst such responsibilities would not be solely left to the Associate, he/she would be expected to play an integral part in quality management, value engineering and cost control.
Additional responsibilities will also include: –
• Design and Supervision of Electrical Engineering Services
• Preparation of Technical Drawings, Specification and Tender Documentation
• Appraisal of Tenders and preparation of Tender Reports
• Attendance at Site Progress Meetings and inspection of installation works
• Cost control of the installation works
• Preparation of Project Cost Plans and Estimates
• Manage Projects from inception to completion
• Liaise with other Professionals on the Project
• Liaise directly with the Client
• Oversee and advise other Engineering Personnel

Some travel to other offices would be required on occasion, as would your expertise on complex projects overseas.
