Halo Recruit are working in partnership with one of the areas leading manufacturers of consumer goods to recruit for an experienced SHEQ Manager to be based from their site in Chesterfield.

This is a permanent opportunity, working directly for my Client.

The role is critical for the site, and the successful candidate will be an integral part of the site leadership team, whilst also joining an experienced and dedicated Group Safety and Quality team which support the Group.

Responsibilities

To manage and guarantee that health and safety objectives connected to the site are achieved, in compliance with Group Policies.

To ensure the site operates a suitable and sufficient Environment and Quality Management system to meet the requirements of ISO9001, BRC Consumer Products, FSC and CHSA standards

To ensure Safe, Legal and Products of consistent quality

Desirable Experience

• ISO Lead Auditor trained would be beneficial
• Exposure to BRC standards and audits is beneficial

Required Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent NVQ
• Technical member of IOSH or above
• Internal Auditor Qualified in management system standard
• First Aid at Work
