An exciting and progressive opportunity has arisen to join a Loss Adjusting company in the heart of the City to manage an interesting and challenging portfolio of international Energy claims.

You will possess a first class work ethic and have experience in dealing with Energy (preferably renewables) claims (on both a direct and reinsured basis). Other large classes of business such as Marine, Property, PI and FI exposure would also be considered. You will possess knowledge of coverages, benefits and exclusions as well as the understanding and application of legal and regulatory issues relating to the policy wordings.

You will be a natural communicator and negotiator who enjoys face-to-face negotiations, is well versed in claims processes and apt at interacting with all interested parties including Brokers, Underwriters and Clients. You will possess the gravitas and charisma to develop relationships and engage in market discussions as well as writing reports on a day to day basis. Travel will also be involved in the role, predominantly to Europe.

A prerequisite for this role is a candidate must be extremely proficient / fluent in the Italian language

Roles such as these are very rare and as a result will be very attractive to a lot of Loss Adjusters working within the Lloyd’s and London market and beyond. As a result, competition will be extremely high and early entry will be necessary to avoid disappointment.
