Dual Fuel Smart Meter Installers – Various Locations

Are you a Gas professional looking to upskill to Dual Fuel SMART Meter Installation? Are you an existing Dual Fuel Meter Fitter looking for a new challenge and long-term guaranteed work?

Over the next 5 years, 30 million Gas & Electric (Dual Fuel) SMART Meters will be need to be installed across the North West with hundreds of Engineers needed to complete the work.

Spencer Ogden are currently working with a leading provider of Dual Fuel Smart Metering solutions who are urgently in need for more engineers.

We are offering a 23 month contract and world-class training to upskill Gas professionals to Dual Fuel status to fulfil work in Scotland, North West England and Yorkshire.

Not only will the course costs be covered for you, you will also be paid while you learn! Successful candidates will also be provided with everything provided to do the job, including company vehicle, PPE, fuel card and phone.

In order to be considered for this fantastic opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:
*CCN1/CMA1 and MET1 Qualifications
*Experience installing Domestic Gas Meters (desirable)
*Be able to commit to 23 month temporary contract
*Be prepared to undergo Criminal Record check
*Be prepared to attend Health and Safety induction, which may be outside your local area and involve overnight stays (all expenses covered)
*Attend an assessment day which will include psychometric testing, written aptitude test, colour blind test and face-to-face interview
*Provide references from all your previous employers for a minimum of at least two years

In return, you can expect to enjoy the following benefits:
*5 week scholarship to successfully install Dual Fuel SMART Meters
*23 month contract which may offer the opportunity of permanent employment or extension
*OTE £36,000 – £42,000 per year
*Completion bonus at the end of the 23 month contract
