Are you able to self fund your training costs (£6,600) to gain a Logic Approved Level 2 Diploma in Smart Metering plus additional recognised Gas Metering Qualifications of CMA1 and MET1?

Next 16 Week Course Start Dates: 7th November. 5th December, 9th January

These positions will offer you the chance to receive the highest standard of smart meter training with direct progression into employment, subject to you passing the course examinations.

Interviews will take place locally within your area, prior to any course starting or fees have to be paid.

The Training Opportunity

Reservations are now being taken for new courses for candidates from any background to undertake a detailed training course to become a fully qualified Dual Fuel Meter Installer (Level 2 Diploma Smart Metering).

All of these courses are self funded, which means that you will have to pay for the full cost of training before the course starts.

The Training

will be to the highest standard available and this is a mix of both classroom and field based mentored installations (with the end employer).

Classroom Training takes place at an established and approved training centre in Stockport (near Manchester) for 5 weeks. Here. you will receive intense training on smart metering installations to enable the smooth progression from trainee into full employment.

The field based mentored installations will take place for a period of up to 10 weeks.

At the end of mentoring you will need to sit final examinations and if successful, you will be guaranteed a permanent job.

The Employment Opportunity

Subject to applicants successfully passing employment vetting and your final metering examinations, these positions will provide you with a guaranteed and permanent job as a smart meter installer.

Permanent Employment

Starting salary of £36,000

– On Target Earnings is via an additional bonus scheme on meters fitted, where you can earn up to an extra £36,000per week on top of your basic salary

Be able to pay for the full cost of the course, prior to starting training (£6,600 including VAT)

Have a Full UK Driving License with less than 7 penalty points

Have a legal right to work in the United Kingdom

Be aware that you will not be paid during the classroom or mentored installation phase of the training course
