Traffic Engineers

After recently winning a number of huge new contracts and projects, we are currently seeking two Traffic Engineers with experience of local schemes within London to join a Highways/Transport consultancy based in the West London location.

You will ideally have experience in Highways and Traffic Scheme Engineering work including Project Management and knowledge within other Civils/Structural sectors would be beneficial within this Traffic/Highways job.

In this job you will be expected to supervise and manage the design and build of the Traffic and Highways Projects involving De-Cluttering, Junction Improvements, Footway Widening, Local Safety Schemes, Private Developments highway reconstruction.

You will be part of a growing team that assist in preparation of tender documents, compilation of contract drawings, Consultation with utilities, port of London authority, neighbouring boroughs, emergency services and English Heritage.

Once successful you will respond to queries received from tenderers, assist in evaluation of tenders, prepare reports to TFL/LoBEG, assist in award of the contract, attend and take minutes of the pre contract meetings, supervise the contractor and deal with issues arising during the design and construction of the scheme.

Our client here will offer up a long term contracting opportunity based in an accessible location within London, rates are negotiable dependent on experience. Candidates will also be considered from a permanent point of view – with career development options on offer here too.
