The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving one of the most fascinating and ambitious modularized Perl/CGI applications ever developed, that provides BPM/Workflow functions to some of the world’s leading telecommunications and media organisations. We are looking for an enthusiastic Perl guru who is an effective problem solver and who can draw on a wealth of real world experience of large Perl implementations to deliver innovative solutions to improve functionality, performance and scalability.

HTML/Javascript/CSS
SOA, REST, SOAP, XML
Databases – Oracle, MySQL
Performance optimization of code and databases
PEN testing and developing highly secure applications including OWASP best practices
TCP/IP
Producing Technical Design Documentation
Implementing development best practices e.g. Version control, Continuous Integration, Agile, Code Review
