Salary: £108 – £222 per day
Job Title: (SEMH) English/Humanities Specialist
Location: Gateshead
Daily Rate: £108 – £222
Nature of Employment: Supply/Permanent/Contractual
GSL Education are actively looking for candidates on behalf of an SEMH setting and urgently require an English/Humanities specialist with the ability to deliver to pupils with significant barriers to learning.
Based in the Gateshead area, the position is an exciting one, for the right candidate. You will be a proficient subject specialist capable of differentiation and raising outcomes. You will be experienced and confident directing support assistants to get the most out of each lesson. You will be an excellent behaviour manager with great de-escalation skills and the ability to build rapport quickly. We invite applications from applicants who can deliver to GCSE level.
You will be part of a friendly enthusiastic and hardworking school team and will be responsible for planning, marking and assessment for pupils.
The position is anticipated to be on-going and is usual school hours.
You must hold a UK recognised teaching qualification and have appropriate school based experience. You will be required to complete our vetting procedure and be willing to complete a DBS application or have an existing certificate on the update service.
