An exciting opportunity has arisen at one of the most established and reputable food manufacturing companies in the UK for a Site Electrical Duty Holder who will ensure effective, efficient and timely planning and co-ordination of site electrical issues and planned maintenance. Acting as planning supervisor for large scale engineering or site projects by managing key contractors and liaising with HSE to comply with CDM Regulations
As the Site Electrical Duty Holder you’ll ….
• Act as site contact on all electrical issues
• Ensure that standards and procedures are in place and regularly updated to govern electrical activities on site including aspects of new asset realisation, safe working practices, management of contractors and assessment of competencies of engineering staff.
• Advise the site energy management team of energy consumption of assets, providing equipment and resource when required
• Provide an innovative proactive support service to the site based on skill and experience, driving innovation for continuous improvements
• Maintain adequate stock levels for PM and UPM, reducing overall holdings in line with site and PF requirements
• Use your Site Electrical Duty Holder experience to ensure effective, efficient and timely planning and co-ordination of site electrical issues and planned maintenance.
• Act as planning supervisor for large scale engineering or site projects by managing key contractors and liaising with HSE to comply with CDM Regulations
• Co-ordinate electrical maintenance activities with Engineering Team Leader
You….
’ll be educated to degree/equivalent level in an electrical engineering discipline and have significant experience in a Site Electrical Duty Holder role within a blue chip manufacturing / FMCG company.
You’ll have knowledge of PC’s (AB / Siemens, according to site), Installation of new equipment and vertical start up
You’ll have Control systems experience and experience of radioactive source management would be beneficial
