Stock Control Manager

Salary: £43,200 – £50,400 per year

Calling Stock Controllers or Merchandisers with experience in the wholesale/retail sector used to working with the big high street stores!

They are wCell established and respected in the textile sector supplying major retailers throughout the UK designing and importing goods from the Far East.

This is a great opportunity to join a fast moving stock/merchandising team for a leading home textile company whose clients are some of the biggest retailers in the UK.

We are looking for someone with experience in trend and forecast analysis within a retail or wholesale environment. Ability to interpret information & make decisions to maximise sales and stock efficiency.

So what do we want YOU to be?

You could be a Junior Stock Controller ready to take that next step up, or a more seasoned, experience person – either way is fine – so

You will have a great track record as a Stock Controller or love stock and merchandising

Ownership of your own product category

Understand critical path and have good working knowledge of Far East relationships from design and samples to production and shipping.

Accuracy and attention to detail will be a way of life for you.

will have a commercial approach to work backed by an analytical mind.

There will be nothing you don’t know about Excel – VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, If Functions and SUMIF

And

You will be a great communicator able to develop effective relationships from the Board down

Able to bring your talents and enthusiasm every day to the role.

What is the role?

Managing a team of 4 – 3 very experienced members and one to be developed

Forward Planning Stocks for All Customers – critical path knowledge is essential

New Lines – working closely with Product Team

Reports – Monthly, Weekly and On Demand

Being a member of the Month End Commercial Meeting – able to update senior management on essential KPIs
