gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for a Chemical Process Operator to work at their facility based near Widnes
Performance Objectives
* Operating a variety of chemical plant and equipment following detailed process instructions and completion of process records
* control / troubleshooting of multiple production processes
* Includes simple in-process analytical testing
* Involves regular manual handling of chemicals
Person Specification
* Basic numeracy and literacy essential
* Basic computer skills advantageous
* Counterbalance FLT licence essential
* Lean Manufacturing knowledge (5S, Kaizen & 7 wastes) advantageous
* Experience in the chemical industry is not vital but a manufacturing background would be advantageous
