Customer Account Manager
Tamworth, Staffordshire
Up to £36,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Permanent position
A large Construction products supplier based near Tamworth, is currently looking for an experienced Account Manager to look after a Key Customer’s requirements.
Main Duties:
* Day to day management of a Key Customer Account
* Inputting incoming sales orders received either by phone, or by liaising with the Area Sales Managers for the relevant areas required
* Communicating with the customer, and also the production, warehouse and technical departments where required to confirm or query order details
* Provide basic technical support for customer’s enquiries
* To promptly resolve customer delivery enquiries this will include liaison with the courier or warehouse where necessary
* Co-ordinate customer quote requests
* Deal with customer orders and end user enquiries promptly and ensure appropriate action is taken
* Working within a team and assisting Customer Service colleagues and the Customer Care Manager as required
* This list of duties is not exhaustive and may change at any time as required
* Completion of all associated administration
* Utilising of SAP computer system where required to enter / update data etc.
Skills required:
* Previous experience in a similar role is essential
* Genuine passion for providing the highest level of customer service is required
* SAP experience
* Attention to detail is critical
* Ability to prioritise workload
* Ability to remain calm under pressure is needed
* Has a can do attitude with a willingness to be part of a successful team.
* Able to use multiple systems and multi-task in a fast paced environment.
* Can demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Good Excel, Word and Outlook skills
