Role: SHEQ Advisor
Location: Bedford, Luton, Milton Keynes or the surround areas

Salary: £30,000 – £45,600 dependant on experience + car ( or mileage allowance)

My client is a market leader in their field and specialise in large scale infrastructure project.

In this role you will be attached to managing the SHEQ functions on construction sites where you will be ensuring the contractors abide to the IS standards.

-ISO 9001
-ISO 14001
-ISO 18001

You will perform a combination of audit, implementation, reporting and checks around these standards.

With the ultimate goal ensuring best working practices and compliance are in place at all times.

Due to the nature of the projects you will site based and the bulk of the work in or around the Bedford area, there will also be an occasional need to travel to London so candidates should ideally be located close to Bedford however between London and Bedford would be suitable.

This role would suit experience SHEQ / HSEQ professionals with a view to further progress their carrier. However my client is also able to train and develop candidates who have Health and Safety experience and looking to expand their skill set across Environmental and quality policies.

Essential Criteria:

-Full UK Drivers License
-Previous experience of working as a H&S Advisor
-Ability to work from a Bedford office and multiple site locations
-NEBOSH general certificate or similar eg NEBOSH Construction

Not essential experience:

-ISO Auditing experience 9001, 14001 and or 18001

On offer is s salary depending on experience of £30,000 – £45,600( possible room for movement for the right candidate) based on experience. In addition to this you would receive a company car and benefits.
