WasteRecruit are working with a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy to source a Consultant Hydrogeologist to support the geology and hydrology department in a range of projects.

Working across industrial, waste, mineral and property sectors you will assess the impacts of land development on water resources and water quality as well as the risks arising from environmental incidents and contaminated land.

In this role you will have the opportunity to be involved with all aspects of the project works from the preparation of desk-based studies, field monitoring, planning and supervising site investigation works to the preparation of reports including detailed quantitative risk assessment, hydrogeological models and the implementation of remediation solutions.

You will also provide technical support to the environmental planning and permitting departments.

To be considered for this role you must hold a BSc in Geology, Earth Science or a related field. An MSc in Hydrogeology is desirable.

You will have a high standard of written work along with a good working knowledge of specialist risk assessment and / or hydrological modelling software.

The role will be a mix of desk-based study and field work. A UK driving licence is essential.
