Salary: £30,000 – £42,000 per year
Our client is a very established and highly successful manufacturer and distributor of machinery to the laminating industry. Due to their continued business expansion Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Service Technician.
The successful candidate will be located within the Midlands region and you be responsible for installation, repair and demonstration activities throughout the UK.
The successful candidate will be an experienced electrical / mechanical technician/engineer with excellent machine breakdown and repair capabilities.
The Role:
Reporting to the service manager you will be responsible for effective delivery of professional mechanical & electrical build, service, repair and demonstration of various laminating machinery.
Duties will include but is not limited to the following;
* Building laminators on site
* Providing on-site installations, repairs and demonstrations
* Provide assistance with over the phone technical support as and when required.
* Covering the whole of the UK, with occasional overnight stays
Candidate:
The successful candidate will be an experienced multi-skilled technician/engineer with excellent mechanical and electrical maintenance experience.
You will demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills and you will be of a friendly disposition.
Previous laminating machine maintenance experience would be beneficial.
