Care Assistant | Day Centre | East Riding
We are currently seeking a Care Assistant to work within a Day Centre setting based in East Riding Of Yorkshire.To be successful for this role you will be required to have a minimum of 1 year’s recent experience of working as a care assistant within the social care sector
The successful Care Assistant will have experience of:
– Assisting staff to lift and turn bedridden patients
– Helping clients to move around and communicate
– Applying practical intervention procedures for dementia or behavioural problems
– Providing personal care (including toilet shower, bathe, and dressing)
– Providing a high quality of care to service users
– You must have clear written and verbal skills as you will be required to write case notes up

– Current manual handling certificate
– First Aid certificate
– Dementia Training
– Health & Safety
– Food & Hygiene
– Medication
– NVQ level 2 in Health & Social Care
