Pipefitter

Salary: £26.4 – £34.8 per hour

We are currently recruiting for an experienced fabrication pipe fitter for work in the Aberdeen area. This initially be temporary buyt will lead to permanent for the right candiddate.

Applicants must have recent fabrication shop experience

Duties will include but not be limited to:-

 Participate in all relevant company safety procedures and pre job planning, including tool box talks and risk assessments. 

 Laying/Marking out, cutting, forming and joining metal pipe. 

 Aligning and fixing pieces together through welding, bolting, threading and bending. 

 Produce tack welds on various items using a variety of processes, manual arc, tungsten inert gas, metallic inert gas, brazing et c. 

 Fulfil all company and/or client procedures and understand their individual responsibility with regard to overall QHSE performance. 

 Maintaining quality of work and ensuring compliance with job specific procedures and qualifications. 

 Must be flexible, able to adapt to different situations which may require working overtime hours.

Working under limited supervision using standardised practices and/or methods.

Core hours 40 hours. Overtime hours at enhanced rate will be available.
