Vocational Assessor

My client is the UK’s leading provider of integrated training, event and learning solutions and have an exciting vacancy for a London based Assessor whose role will be to deliver qualifications and frame works, and to manage the framework process by providing quality training and assessment in the workplace.

The Role:

Motivate and support work based learning candidates to achieve their qualification(s)
Maintain caseload in accordance with company guidelines
To manage framework achievements within funding period
Plan the assessment process in consultation with the Learner and work based supervisor
Support the learning process – facilitate “on the job” learning as/when required
Support the Learner in compiling their portfolio of evidence
Assessing portfolio for relevance authenticity and sufficiency
Ensure all documentation (electronic + paper based) is completed accurately and on time
Carry out learner observation, reviews and competence assessments in accordance with company guidelines
Support the recruitment of additional learners by providing an exemplary learning experienceExperience:

4 years occupational experience in delivery sector
Experience in L4 Business & Professional Administration NVQ & the in HNC Business delivery area
Higher Apprenticeship delivery experience
A proven track record in learner achievement, retention and assessment
Demonstrate a committed, enthusiastic and flexible approach
Be able to work on their own initiative with minimal supervision
