Holmes Indexer – Major Incident Room

A good understanding of working in a Major Incident Room environment
Good basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Accurate and methodical approach to work
Proven ability in an investigative, analytical or research role, where the gathering, evaluation and manipulation of data using IT is a critical element.
Flexible attitude as the role may involve travel to other BCU’s or to provide mutual aid to other forces
Must have successfully completed HOLMES 2 Initial Indexers Course
A sound knowledge and experience of the Criminal Procedures and Investigations Act 1996 (CPIA) as amended by the Criminal Justice Act 2003 and the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 (RIPA) and force policy around information management.

*Job Evaluation
Following the recent job evaluation a new grading & pay framework is under consideration and the new rate for this post, payable under the new pay framework, is £26,000per year. If no decision has been made about changing the pay framework, the temporary assignment will be based on the current rate of Salary: £26,000 per year.
