Training and Development Officer

Salary: £33,600 per year

18 month contract with possibility of extension
Coventry based
Monday to Friday / 8.45am to 4.45pm
Our client, a well known society, is looking for a Training and Development Officer to assist the manager in running and delivery of the training function and HR strategy.
The key responsibilities:
* Designing and delivering both digital and face-to-face training programmes and identifying T&D needs through analysis
* Creating blended training using software
* Long term improvement of colleagues skills, ensuring they reach their full potential through learning, leading to the growth of the business
* Supporting managers in the development of their teams, providing support and coaching and delivering presentations
* Lead on Society’s training programmes and projects, consistently promoting the Society’s values
* Support the Manager’s in the development of their teams, providing support with coaching and following up on 1 to 1’s and development plans, e-learning programmes and workshops
* Liaising with stakeholders
The ideal candidate:
* Comfortable in a fast paced environment
* Confident, organised and great communication skills
* Experience writing content
* Knowledge/experience of training/development programmes
* IT skills
* Passion for learning and development
* Good level of written communication
