GSL Education are working with Primary Schools in York who are seeking Key Stage 2 teachers. This will be on a short, mid, and long-term supply basis, with an opportunity for fixed term or permanent contracts for the right candidate if the schools require. To be successful, you must:

• Hold a UK Teaching qualification (QTS) or equivalent. (ECT’s are encouraged to apply)
• Have experience in teaching KS2 classes. (at least 6 months, placements can be included)
• Be comfortable with organising and planning lessons or be comfortable with following a plan when required.
• SEN experience is advantageous.
• SAT’s Experience is desirable.
• Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who enjoys leading classes.
• Have a positive approach to situations and have a nurturing approach to teaching.
• Have a up to date enhanced child only DBS on the update system or be willing to apply for one via GSL Education.
• Have the right to work in the UK.
