Vehicle Collection Driver / Car Transporter Driver

Salary: £44,400 – £54,000 per year

A fantastic opportunity is available to train to become a Vehicle Collection Driver / Car Transporter Driver and join this multi-national organisation collecting accident damaged, insurance and salvage vehicles based from one of their expanding depots across the UK. 

This is a superb position for someone living within 45 minutes of their nearest depot and who wants a good work / life balance with excellent earning potential.

Job-Type: Full-Time

Current Available Locations: York, Newbury, Sandwich, Westbury or Sandycroft.

Salary: £44,400 – £54,000 per annum depending upon performance. Includes Basic Pay, Performance Bonus and Additional Bonuses

£45,000+ is achievable for hardworking, fully trained and experienced drivers!

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday

Hours: 06:00 – 17:00; average 10-12 hour shifts

Overtime: is available on Saturdays in some depots. Some depots offer drivers the chance for nights out to maximise their earning potential.

Description: Using a Multideck Rigid 6-8 Car Transporter (+ 1 Car Spec Lift for LGVC+E licence holders) the successful candidates will collect insurance damaged and salvage cars and light vans from businesses, garages, body shops and residential addresses and deliver them to the company’s depot/s.

Training: The company is known for providing an excellent service and developing their employees to a very high standard through a comprehensive 6-month training and transition period.

Skills & Experience: To be considered for the role you must be self-motivated, able to work on your own initiative and prepared to get your hands dirty as this can be a physical role. The company are especially interested speaking to candidates with at least 2 year’s commercial driving experience in an HGV Class 2 vehicle. In addition the following key skills and experience are essential:

· Full HGV Class 2 Licence (No more than 3 points on the licence) or above

· Digi Tacho

· Full DCPC

· Confident and personable when talking to customers

· Willing to work in all weather conditions
