Salary: £42,000 – £54,000 per year
I’m excited to be recruiting a Regional Operations Manager on behalf of this South Yorkshire based fun filled phenomenon.
It will take a very special kind of manager to lead this rapidly growing portfolio of leisure facilities.
You will understand that operational performance excellence is only achieved by hard work, an engaged and enthusiastic team and above all, an inspirational and motivational leader. Someone for whom people are as important as profit and who is totally and absolutely committed to team development at all levels.
Main Purpose of the Job:
To take overall responsibility for the operations of both current locations and future sites. Steering and developing operational practice to ensure compliance with the business plan while developing and maintaining competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1. Keep fully up to date with our specific industry and the wider leisure industry to maintain competitive advantage.
2. Be fully aware of the company business plan and implement strategies to ensure cohesion to this.
3. Build solid relationships with suppliers to ensure the best value for money in terms of quality and cost.
4. Take overall responsibility for the company’s Health and Safety provision ensure that all sites are working within legislative requirements.
5. Inspirational and motivational line management of General Managers to deliver operational efficiency at all times.
6. Support the General Managers in key areas and deputise for them in their absence.
7. Maintain and improve areas of operational performance through setting and reviewing KPI’s and where necessary developing and agreeing recovery action plans.
8. Develop, revise and submit relevant reports, budgets and other documentation on a monthly or where agreed three monthly basis which highlight where each site is in relation to budgets and KPI’s.
9. Reviewing relevant working practices to ascertain if they are fit for purpose and if not devise alternatives.
10. To carry out other reasonable duties which may be required.
