HGV Driver (Class 1 / Class 2 Driver Cpc Qualified)

Scrap Metal and Waste Management Company looking for CPC qualified hands on class 1 and class 2 HGV drivers to deliver professional recycling collection services.

RATE: £26,000 per year, circa £21,000
EXTRAS: Mobile Phone, pension.

JOB TITLE: HGV Driver (Class 1/ class 2 Driver CPC Qualified)

BACKGROUND:
You should come from a driving background and have experience with Class 1 or Class 2 vehicles.
You may have previous Scrap Metal or Waste Management experience.
Army/ Military backgrounds would be welcomed.
You will need to have a driver CPC qualification.
You may have driven HGV Class 1 or class 2, artic and rigid.

CLIENT:
My client a rapidly growing organisation in the Scrap Metal, Waste Management and recycling sector. They are engaged in Scrap Metal, Waste Management and recycling services. With their own recycling and transport facilities they can offer a full and comprehensive recycling service to potential customers.

MAIN DUTIES – HGV Driver:
• You will be involved in Scrap Metal and Waste Management collection services Driving HGV Class 1 and class 2, artic or rigid.
• You will be responsible for vehicle checks on a daily and weekly basis.
• You will be the face of the company at the client’s site.
• You will operate the tail lift equipment.
• You will work well as a team player.
• You will make sure that loads are safely secured and that you are complying to company Health and Safety regulations.

EXPERIENCE – HGV Driver

You will have a Driver CPC qualification.

Ideally a clean licence.

You will have experience driving Class 1 or 2 vehicles.

A professional attitude and ability to work hands on.

Scrap Metal, Waste Management or Recycling collection experience not required.

You will have a good knowledge of transport operations.
