Nurse Assessor Office Based Non-Client Facing

My client is seeking unique individuals to join their team in Linwood.

Day to Day

This role is pivotal in supporting applicants for a DWP benefit Personal Independent Payments. You will assess the customer’s application and supplementary medical evidence. In over 20% of cases, you can refer the application directly to the DWP, removing the need for the customer to attend a face to face assessment either at home or at a clinic.

To achieve this, you will liaise with a wide range of clinicians, a highly developed communication style and tenacity are key in this role.

Training

Customers will have multiple clinical issues; you will be given industry-leading training provided by my client’s amazing clinical tutors. The course will provide you will the skills to support customers and transfer your current nursing skills and knowledge to the level required for the role.

Full training is approximately 6 months duration, during which you will be paid. This role will maintain your registration with the NMC and you will receive revalidation support to maintain your registration as an RN, RMN or RNLD.

Development
Once you have completed their comprehensive training, the investment in you does not end. You will have ongoing CPD, with over 100 hours CPD protected per annum, support with revalidation and the opportunity to develop your career within the organisation. As a specialised assessor your role may develop as a clinical resource or auditor.

Your Requirements

Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an RGN, RMN or RNLD. Computer or IT skills are necessary. Typing or keyboard skills with an ability to type at 30 words per minute are required.
