Our client is currently looking to recruit for this leading Assistance and Personal Services provider based in the Croydon area, who can offer you all of the above and much, much more.
The Role
Your objective will be to manage a number of Automotive accounts effectively – services currently provided include roadside assistance, SARA and other related products to meet agreed sales turnover, combined ratio and development targets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop excellent working relationships with key client personnel at all levels to understand where opportunities arise to provide new products and services to meet these.
- The role involves frequent travel to the region, HQ and HQ’s of Pan European clients when required.
- To actively manage new business proposals together with internal and external stakeholders to ensure submission are made within deadline.
- To ensure that any new business lines won are implemented, managed and maintained on an on-going basis
- Manage and oversee Sales Support executive and utilise resource effectively
- Identify any areas of weakness in service delivery or process and highlight them to the Country Manager to ensure they can be rectified
- Liaise and communicate with other business departments and Platform partners to ensure that good relationships are maintained and a team approach is developed to achieve contracted
The Candidate
You will have proven Business to business Account Management / sales experience, preferably within the automotive assistance/travel insurance industry with the drive and self-motivation to grow near and enhance current business requirements.
- Evidence of successful sales cycle management for large corporate accounts.
- Experience of leading business presentations
- Effective time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines whilst managing numerous tasks
- A good working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and intranet/internet.
- Good standard of written and spoken English
- Enthusiastic high achiever
- Self-motivated with a highly disciplined work ethic requiring minimum supervision
- Commercially astute and at ease with complex financial analysis
- Confident in delivering professional presentations utilising various media
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Flexible and adaptable to changing business priorities
- Delivery focused – able to consistently hit deadlines and objectives
- A team player with strong communications skills
- Flexibility for extensive international travel
- Have a full driving licence as they will be required to travel around the region
Desirable
- Ability to speak and communicate in writing within at least one, ideally two of the following languages:, Finish Danish or Swedish
- Work experience within the Nordics/Scandinavia
- Experience of account management and relationship building
